Learning on ScreenMondays with Merce
- Synopsis
- Beginning in September 2008, the Merce Cunningham Studio will broadcast a series of 26 live webcasts every other Monday. These 30-40 minute sessions, MONDAYS WITH MERCE, will be available for free download and will each include segments from Merce Cunningham’s Company Class, and rehearsals with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. In addition, the programmes will feature interviews with Merce Cunningham and his associates, including current and former dancers, artists and musicians, and also with choreographers who have been influenced by his work, and historical footage.
Subscriptions to a downloadable series of complete 90-minute Cunningham Master Classes will also be available for purchase by universities and colleges. - Language
