Synopsis
Dominic Cavendish of Daily Telegraph, chairs a panel of critics comprising Jane Edwards, Mark Shenton and Carole Woddis who discuss Nicholas Hytner’s modern dress production of Henry V for the National Theatre, a production heavily influenced by the events of the war in Iraq. They discuss the staging, the effectiveness of modern political parallels, colour blind casting, the use of video projections and Adrian Lester’s performance.
