Synopsis
A thirteen-part television series, presented by Richard Ouzounian, on the history of the Stratford (Ontario) Shakespeare Festival. Episode 10 looks at how artistic director Richard Monette moved the Festival into an era of unabashed populism and record box-office. Footage includes King Lear with William Hutt and Jordan Pettie. Hutt talks about playing Lear three times in his Stratford career. Paul Gross talks about playing Hamlet.
