Where is My Romeo? To Each His Own Cinema
Synopsis
A film made in honour of the 60th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival. 35 filmmakers from 25 countries were invited to make a three-minute long film to be part of a collective work. The unifying theme is the love of cinema. Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami’s film WHERE IS MY ROMEO shows women in a cinema reacting tearfully to the tragic close of Zeffirelli’s ROMEO AND JULIET.
