Blade Runner: The Final Cut

Synopsis
Adapted from Philip K. Dick’s novel ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?', this existential thriller stars Harrison Ford as a tracker of renegade androids that are practically impossible to distinguish from human beings. The film was originally released in 2 separate versions, one in the US and one in Europe and then a ‘Director’s Cut’ was released in 1992. The new and ‘final’ cut has been assembled by director Ridley Scott and is a new cut that includes newly filmed material. Extras include audio commentaries, specially made documentaries and hours of ancillary material about the making and restoring of the film.

The Collectors Edition DVD contains all five versions of the film including the ‘workprint’ version, the Dangerous Days documentary and also includes an entire disc with hours of enhanced content containing featurettes and galleries devoted to over 45 minutes of deleted and alternate scenes recently discovered in deep storage and approved by Ridley Scott, visual effects as well as background on author Philip K. Dick, script development, abandoned sequences, conceptual design, overall impact of the film and how it lead to the birth of cyberpunk.
