Synopsis
Feature film. A man stands by the body of his wife, who has commited suicide by jumping from the balcony of their apartment. He recalls their life to Anna, their maid. Includes a scene at a stage performance of Hamlet in which the wife is deeply moved by Hamlet’s death scene and later recalls a passage omitted from the production; her reaction to the play is contrasted with that of her husband.
