Educational series. One in a twelve-part series of films made by the Ontario Educational Communications Authority (now TV Ontario). The aim was to relate ‘Shakespeare’s timeless ideas and understanding of human motivations to contemporary society’. The press information from NBC Educational Enterprises records that the film shows ‘Prince Hal’s transformation from libertine to responsible leader’. There are quotations from passages which focus on the development of the ideal king.
