Anti-Global Warming Advertisements

Synopsis
Two thirty-second television advertisments produced by the Competitive Enterprise Institute in the USA which speak out against calls by environmental groups and some policicians for reduced energy use to combat global warming. The ads were broadcast in 14 U.S. cities from May 18 to May 28, 2006. The CEI is a public policy group backed by Exxon Mobil, General Motors and Ford and dedicated to advancing the principles of free enterprise and limited government. The ads were launched to tie in with the release of the Al Gore documentary AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH which aims to change the prevailing American view of climate change. A spoof film making fun of AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH is also available via the CEI website.
