- Audio recording of a seminar organised by the Institute for Public Policy Research as part of their Digital Society team’s one-year project investigating intellectual property. The project is very broad in its scope and aims to assess the various public and private goods that are at stake in the way that the UK regulates intellectual property, in the context of new media. The seminar was held on 14 July 2006 and speakers included:
Lord Sainsbury, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Science and Innovation;
Chris Parker, Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs, Microsoft; Rufus Pollock, Open Knowledge Foundation; Dr Richard Jennings, Cambridge Enterprise. Part 1 of the recording lasts 82 minutes and records the speakers’ discussion, with Part 2 (38 minutes) containing questions from the floor and speakers’ responses. - Language
