Art of Travel, The
- Synopsis
- Based on the book of the same name, Alain de Botton investigates why people go on holiday as he considers the philosophical issues surrounding our experiences of travel and vacations. Taking four separate and distinctly different journeys - a city break to Amsterdam, a Mediterranean cruise, a driving holiday around East Germany and a coach tour of Kent - de Botton encounters real holidaymakers with whom he discusses their reasons for taking a break.
