- Synopsis
- Television programme devoted to the work of Frederick Ashton. It is comprised of an outline of his career, an interview and two performances by The Royal Ballet. The first ballet recorded is Ashton’s production of The Dream at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London. Ashley Lawrence conducts the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House with the London Oratory Choir. With an introduction by Robin Ray.
