Synopsis: Schools television series in nine-parts on Macbeth presented by John Lord. The series examines the murder of Duncan. Episode 2 asserts that in killing Duncan, Macbeth destroys the natural order and that the King is God’s regent on earth. Looks at how through his dramatic poetry, Shakespeare portrays Duncan as a gracious and noble man.
