Synopsis
Shows the four main methods of manufacturing plastic products and discusses the uses of each. Computer numerical controlled (CNC) methods are demonstrated; the process of dyeing plastic and he costs and the time taken for each product to come ‘off line’ are examined. The four methods described are vacuum pressure forming; injection moulding; blow moulding; rotational moulding.
