Goodbye Girl, The

Synopsis
Feature film. Eliot Garfield (Dreyfuss) is an aspiring (and straight) actor who comes from Chicago to seek fame in New York City and finds that he is sharing a New York apartment with a dancer (Mason) and her daughter. He also discovers that the director of Richard III (Benedict), in which Eliot is playing the title role, requires a gay interpretation.
