Synopsis
The story of two ordinary people, Dave Morris and Helen Steel, who took on McDonalds in what became the biggest corporate PR disaster in history. The DVD contains the original 53-minute film made in 1997 and the 85-minute updated version including the Feb 2005 judgement by the European Court of Human Rights. It also contains four hours of extras and 21 special features. These include: a documentary on the lead-up to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg; evidence from the trial and the post-verdict press conference; director’s commentary; comedian Rob Newman reading quotes relating to McDonalds; deleted scenes; extended interviews with people involved in or commenting on the importance of the trial.
