PanamÁ - PanamÁ la Vieja and Casco Viejo

Synopsis: One in a series of book and accompanying DVD packages devoted to specific World Heritage sites. The guides include information written by local professionals so as to provide the visitor with all the necessary elements to fully appreciate each site in its global dimension. Together with suggested itineraries, the guides include information on the history, culture and life of the people who used to live or still live in the site to this day. An accompanying DVD gives background information and shows the main sights.

This package provides information on the four World Heritage Sites of Panamá. The DVD-ROM offers a journey through the ruins of Panamá La Vieja (Old Panamá), Casco Viejo, the historic district of Panamá City and Darién National Park, as well as the forts of Portobelo and San Lorenzo. The pocket printed guide offers itineraries through the archaeological site of Panamá La Vieja and the historic district of the city, providing a wealth of information to enable visitors to fully appreciate these sites. It is also complemented by a map of the city.
