Work of Director Stephane Sednaoui , The

Synopsis
The Directors Label series highlights the work of the filmmakers who have helped to re-define music videos and filmmaking over the last decade. Stephane Sednaoui has become one of the most internationally renowned photographers and directors since his introduction to the world of fashion by Jean-Paul Gaultier. At age 21, Stephane worked with photographer William Klein as the casting director and still photographer for his film La Mode, Mode D’Emploi; by age 22 he was working full-time as a professional photographer. Since 1985 Stephane has applied his unique photographic style to editorial fashion, celebrity portraiture, advertising print, and photojournalism.

His first major video breakthrough was "Give it Away" for The Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1992 and he has since gone on to create classic music videos for the likes of U2, R.E.M., Neneh Cherry, Alanis Morrisette and Bjork. This DVD features a host of exclusive material including a new collaboration with Bjork.
