Egypt - Romancing the Stone

Synopsis
The video examines whether looted historical artefacts should be returned to their country of origin. Egypt is campaigning to get back its plundered antiques, particularly the Rosetta Stone. "The Rosetta Stone is the symbol of the Old Egyptian civilisation. How can this symbol be outside Egypt?" states guide Ayman Hamdan. But if Egypt does get back the Rosetta Stone, where will this leave the rest of the British Museum’s priceless collection? The museum is worried it would set a dangerous precedent to return the icons of other nations. 14 minutes.
