- Trenchless technology has become an effective and economic alternative to open-cut construction. Cities and communities can no longer afford to disrupt traffic or disturb the public. Nor can they afford the high costs of restoration that result from traditional open-cut methods. This video provides a detailed insight into trenchless techniques for new installation, on-line replacement and in-situ renovation of sewers, pressure pipes and cables. It shows these systems on the job, explains their principles and indicates the ground conditions and other situations where each system would be appropriate.
