Synopsis
Examines the evolution of modern central heating. It describes early heating and hot water systems of the early 20th century and goes on to explain the principles of modern wet systems. It includes footage of: early coal fires and ranges; gas geysers and gas fires; early electric heating; cylinder arrangements and manufacture, radiator systems
boiler manufacture; pipework, boiler controls, condensing boilers, etc.
The film is not intended as a recipe for good practice but serves to familiarise the viewer with the evolution and principles of modern central heating.
