- Synopsis
- An introduction to modern manufacturing within the context of industrial locations and products. The main emphasis is on manufacturing processes, equipment and control. There are industrial study areas including engineering, electronics, food and drink, textiles and clothing, and plastics. It provides students and teachers with a ‘virtual’ peek at a number of manufacturers’ products and processes from the classroom or workshop. Provides access to a clip art library of 2200 images as well as materials selection and process pages.
