Synopsis
The ‘grand tour’ of Voyager 2 - the space probe that started to explore the outer solar system beginning in August 1977, and led to the outer reaches of the solar system. These pictures of the larger planets Saturn, Uranus and Neptune reveal surprising information about the atmospheres, ring systems and moons of these planets. The entire mission is depicted and explained in this computer simulation.
