Synopsis

Based on a novel by Evelyn Waugh, set amongst Britain’s aristocracy of the 1930s. A devoted couple inadvertently invite an idle socialite to stay. He soon triggers a series of events which will drastically change the course of all their lives, starting with the husband running off to the Amazon where he is held prisoner.
