Reaching out with Basic Skills Video

Synopsis

This video is based on the experience of four projects run by the Adult and Community Learning Fund (ACLF) of the Basic Skills Agency. Over a five-year period the fund has supported 330 community-based projects, mainly in voluntary and community organisations, that integrate literacy and numeracy with a range of activities to engage new learners from ‘hard to reach groups’. The video features short case studies of four projects which illustrate these themes and link them to the Skills for Life agenda.
