Synopsis
The video MARKETING LEISURE 1, made in 1993, studied the marketing mx at Guildford Spectrum which, at the time claimed to be Britain’s biggest leisure centre. Over a decade later an ice rink, bowling alley, leisure pool and fitness gym. Made over a decade later, this video re-visits the centre and explores how its marketing approach has changed. It studies the product, promotion, place, price and policy issues.
