Skillbank: Carpentry and Joinery Videos

Synopsis: A set of six videos covering carpentry and joinery skills. Practical and down-to-earth with minimum commentary and designed to support instruction and demonstrations.
The videos last between 10 and 20 minutes and feature a carpenter tackling a variety of jobs. They demonstrate exactly how to carry out each task, with each process being shown in detail to show exactly how every job is accomplished. Individual programmes cover architraving, door hanging, door lining, joisting, mortice lock fitting, and skirting.
The videos can be used as part of a structured course or as a stand-alone training aid. They are suitable for new recruits entering the industry, as well as people wishing to brush up their skills. The videos are geared to the requirements of N/SVQs.
