Life and Debt

Synopsis
Looks at the less savoury effects of globalisation on the island of Jamaica. With independence came the need for money for development, but the strictures from the IMF and World Bank that came with the loans proved detrimental and divisive to the island. This film examines the effects of policies on people. DVD extras include additional interviews with Michael Manley, former Prime-minister of Jamaica.
