- A CD-ROM exploring Russian cinema before 1919 in the context of life and culture in pre-revolutionary Russia. There are over 100 film clips (55 mins), 74 minutes of analysis and commentary by film scholar Yuri Tsivian, 125 pages of additional commentary on the films and their links to the culture. The CD-ROM format allows users to explore and create thei own pathways through the material, as well as record their own analysis and commentary with the Notepad feature. All analysis and commentary is bilingual (Russian and English).
