- BS 6399: Pt 2 is the replacement standard for CP3:ChV:Pt2 which has been withdrawn. This seminar introduces the so-called Standard Method, and explains the use and benefits of the ‘hybrid’ approaches which reduce the conservatism of the Standard Method. It demonstrates the application of the code to steel structures and explains the recommended procedure. A number of worked examples complement the lecture.
