Synopsis

Milos Forman’s adaptation of Peter Shaffer’s play on some of the rumours surrounding the life and death of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The film won eight Oscars including Best Screenplay, Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor for F. Murray Abraham, who plays Salieri while Tom Hulce plays the title role. The DVD of the extended director’s cut of the film also includes an audio commentary by Forman and Shaffer
