- A study of Théodore Géricault’s painting ‘The Raft of the Medusa’ which depicts the shipwreck of the Medusa, one of four French vessels that set out from Rochefort in June 1816 to regain possession of Senegal. The young painter Géricault seized the news item and accomplished one of the greatest and most powerful images of his time within less than a year. Made in 2002.
