Pennies from Heaven

Synopsis

A television drama by Dennis Potter, broadcast in 6 weekly parts. Arthur, a salesman dealing in sheet music who can spot a hit song when he hears it, falls in love witha school teacher. When she discovers that Arthur is married she runs off. Potter’s ironic handling of music and dance in the television serial was a landmark in British television and his own career.
