John Bunyan’s Pilgrimage

Synopsis
'The Pilgrim’s Progress’, a vivid and dramatic account of one man’s spiritual journey, was first published in 1678 and became very popular. Bunyan also wrote an autobiography,'Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners’. Monica Furlong has set the autobiography alongside extracts from ‘The Pilgrim’s Progress’, and explains how one influenced the other. Bernard Miles can be heard as Bunyan, and there are specially composed music and effects to accompany this documentary.
