Synopsis: It is all too easy for professionals who work in hospital to forget how it feels to people who are unfamiliar with this world especially to young children. This video gives a glimpse of the hospital world as seen from a child’s perspective. The idea is to help staff to recognise changes which they can make, and ways of dealing with things which can’t be changed.The areas covered are: arrival at the hospital arrival on the paediatric unit, exploring, the ward roundinvestigations,theatres, back on the ward.
