Middleton’s Changeling

Synopsis
An updated feature film version of the 17th century play by Middleton and Rowley, incorporating anachronisms and a mixture of original and modern text. Filmed in the fortress of Alicante, the original setting of the play. A young man is in love with a woman but she is pledged to another. She tries to get her manservant to murder her pledged but the manservant blackmails her into sleeping with him. It goes badly wrong when the woman substitutes her maid in her bed.
