Synopsis: The panel, chaired by Colin Blakemore and consisting of Sir Harry Kroto (Nobel Prize winner from Sussex University), Jim Gimzewski (leading nano-technologist from IBM), Peter Dobson (Professor at Oxford University) and Jacqui McGlade talk about what’s going on in nanoscale science (a thousandth of a thousandth of a millimetre) and what it may lead to. They discuss what nanotechnology is, molecular machines in our blood and whether it will change the world as some have promised.
