- Produced in 1939, this is one of Roy Rogers’ early films from the series he made loosely based on legendary western characters, including Billy The Kid and Young Bill Hickock. After Jesse’s gang robs a train, suspicion falls on him for the robbery at the Bank of Northfield. Roy and Gabby suspect he is being framed by crooked bankers.
The film is accompanied by a full supporting programme comprising trailer, newsreel and advertising features.
