Synopsis
Provides an opportunity to observe staff in a busy office dealing with a range of everyday office activities. They are seen making phone calls, arranging meetings, briefing members of a team, discussing and planning a new project. The aim is to show the range of interpersonal skills and competencies required. The videos tell one, continuing story - that of organising the video production of THE OFFICE. Each video concentrates on a major aspect of the planning process as the pace quickens towards the first day of filming. Although each programme stands alone, the common theme of effective communication runs through them all. A learning pack consisting of 3 videos, a guide for lecturers and a 31-page video guide.
