History of Science Fiction Movies, A

Synopsis
How the future was viewed in the first half of the twentieth century, using original archive film clips of many classic science fiction movies. Films like THE FIFTH ELEMENT were inspired by the dreams of pioneers like Georges Melies, whose 1902 A TRIP TO THE MOON is featured here. The compilation includes original cinema trailers from some of the most fondly regarded films, as well as a couple from the "so bad its good" school.
