Synopsis: Shows Home Guard and villagers making a fatal mess of recovering a pilot from a crashed plane. They are then shown by a RAF officer how to safely remove air crew on various types of aircraft. Watching these films clearly shows where David Croft and Jimmy Perry must have got ideas for the television series DAD’S ARMY.
