Synopsis
Basic drama technique. The basic story extract contains rushes of a dialogue scene and a short action chase. The aim of the exercise is to gain basic experience in cutting dialogue and action using sound overlaps and split-edits, time compression, sound effects and continuity editing. Edited version approximately 1 min 20 secs.

Basic documentary technique. The rushes (7 minutes) include a single interview and visual supporting material. The aim of the exercise is to produce an informative item of about 30 secs duration.

Spaghetti hero
Synopsis
This five minute original story is an entertaining spoof of the Spaghetti Western. Somewhere between Sergio Leone’s FISTFUL OF DOLLARS and Alan Parker’s BUGSY MALONE. The original camera rushes (selected down to 15 minutes) contain complete takes, sound effects, voice over and music. A fully edited version is included so you can compare your results, and also a completed EDL (Edit Decision List)
