Bad Religion: The Riot

Synopsis
20 minutes of footage of the riot that ensued on 29 December 1990 when the fire marshalls decided to cancel a gig by Bad Religion (supported by Pennywise and NOFX) at the El Portal Theater in North Hollywood. The over-capacity crowd of 1000 fans turned into an angry mob, throwing rocks and beer bottles and causing $25,000 worth of damage. Paramedics rescued the injured, firemen hosed the crowd and police ‘escorted’ the diehards. Also includes 35 minutes of concert footage from Bad Religion’s Suffer Tour, shot at CSUN’s Devonshire Downs in 1988.
