The House and the Sun
- Synopsis
- Survey of the use of solar energy in architecture. The traditional passive approach to energy conservation is contrasted with active techniques now becoming available to modern architectural designers. The principles underlying the use of the glasshouse effect and solar energy collecting panels are described and illustrated.
