Hospital

Synopsis
A study of one day’s activities in the Metropolitan Hospital in New York City, from major surgery to the hospital chapel, showing patients and staff at the mercy of an institution incapable of fulfilling all the demands made on it. Wiseman feels that in this film you can see all of the larger problems of society ‘through a medical prism’.
