Home Like Ours, A: The Story of Four Children
- Synopsis
- Shows how one home for children tries to cater for the needs of maladjusted children. Looks particularly at the lives of four children and how the houseparents cope with tantrums and withdrawals. Gives an insight into the need for security and continuity in the children’s lives even when one of the houseparents leaves for another job. This is a recurrent problem in child care and the film shows how the children are prepared for the departure and how they react to the loss. *MHFC
