Synopsis
A selection of cartoonists’ graphic images designed to closely examine the Home Front during World War 2. Cartoons drawn for the major newspapers and opinion-forming journals are compared and contrasted to present a picture of the way Britain changed while her army was away at war. The culmination is the 1945 election.
