Antony and Cleopatra: Workshop

Synopsis: The workshop examines one of the many short, crowded scenes of the play, in which Antony takes his leave of Cleopatra before going into battle with Caesar. Director John Russell-Brown works with James Laurenson (Antony) and Gillian Barge (Cleopatra) to show how the business of the donning of a suit of armour can be used to enhance rather than distract from the poetry of the play.
