Antigone

Antigone (Juliet Stevenson), the daughter of Oedipus, defies a royal edict when one of her brothers kills the other. As a consequence she is condemned to death by her uncle Creon (John Shrapnel) in spite of the warning given by the blind seer Teiresias (John Gielgud) that disaster will fall upon Creon himself.
