Henry Irving at the Lyceum
- Synopsis
- Arguably the greatest star actor of the Victorian age, Henry Irving was certainly its greatest actor-manager. For 30 years at the Lyceum he set a standard of production and presentation that was to influence English and American theatre well into the 20th century. The slide set illustrates the talents of both Irving the manager, and Irving the actor.
