Hans Westmar, Einer von Vielen

Synopsis
This feature film is derived from the book ‘Horst Wessel’ by Hans Heinz Ewers and is typical of early Nazi attempts at entertainment films. It was eventually released under the title HANS WESTMAR because the party felt that it failed to do justice to the Horst Wessel myth. It is an interesting portrayal of the struggle for control in Berlin between the Nazis and the Communists as seen through Nazi eyes.
